Day #7

It was a wonderful day in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.

When we went to Bratislava, the first place which we visited was Bratislava castle. Our guide conducted for us a very interesting excursion. Then we went to the tower. It was great! It was very reach and gorgeous! We made a lot of photos.We were impressed by perfect view! During the excursion we learned that this castle was built during the time when the Egyptian pyramids were built. Bratislava is an amazing city! The old history and modern buildings are combined in Bratislava. We noticed small old houses and near then there were high modern skyscrapers. This is a city of contrasts!

After the Bratislava Castle we went to the Old Town. We have passed through the only remaining Michael's gate and got to the Old Town where we have a small tour. We were amazed by incredible architects, exiting views, amazing chapels and so on. Also, we were able to see The Slovak National Theater. It is a wonderful building with sculptures, columns and beautiful fontaine. In addition to it, we visited concert with the kids' participation.

Then we went to Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum. This museum is situated on a lake. It is the museum of modern art. It includes a park with sculptures and an interesting museum with pictures of modern art and a lot of unusual statues. We have never seen such unusual museum!
